With the aim of contributing to vision 90:90:90 of UNAIDS in HIV prevention care and treatment, JAKIN N.G.O as a collaborating partner with FHI360 on the USAID funded Strengthening Integrated Delivery of HIV/AIDS Services project in Lagos State conducts Vulnerable Children(VC) services, home visit for community care and support for PLWHIV, gender norms sessions, referral and tracking, HCT (HIV Counselling and testing) for enrolled VC, monthly meeting with CBO, child protection committee meeting and support group meetings, household system strengthening activities across the 3 designated lga Surulere, Mainland and Ajeromi lga. JAKIN N.G.O commenced the on –going project since 2012. As at December 2016, 3,988 VC have been enrolled and served, 2,292 households reached, 1,803 HCT conducted with 43 HIV positives clients detected while 1,916 clients have received HIV prevention of mother to child transmission (PMTCT) services across the LGAs.
