Mrs Sherifat, a 28yrs old widow with 4 children including a 2 months old baby who lost her house, property and provision business items in a fire incidence which occurred on June 20th received a Jakin N.G.O Samaritan touch on November 11th, 2014 as her children and along with her were ushered into a room with already paid 2 years rent.

The room had also already been renovated. Door and window mosquito nets and ceiling fans have also been installed. New carpets had been laid. She also received some necessary household items including a Television, kerosene stove, pots, rechargeable lamps, pots, mats and a baby bed. Her joy new no bounds as she was also set up in a petty trade convenient for selling in front of her new house.  Her children who had to drop out of school because of the incidence have also resumed school.

Mrs Sherifat and her children now have a brand new life after her husband who was a bus conductor died due to a brief illness when she was five months pregnant with her baby and she later lost her property due to an unfortunate fire incidence induced by her 9 yrs old child who mishandled a candle. Her entire house and that of her neighbors was burnt down to ashes. She lived on a corridor with her children including her 2 months old baby for 6 months before help came her way through the support of JAKIN N.G.O Individual partners.
