It is our custom at the end of each year to celebrate the season with our beneficiaries, to this effect, Jakin N.G.O is planning to conclude our activities for 2014 with an end of the year party.  The event is scheduled to be celebrated with 500 orphans and vulnerable children (VC), 200 caregivers (widows and people living with HIV) along with over 50 volunteers, staff, partners and guests. The beneficiaries are members of Jakin Children’s Club (JCC), Jakin Widows Group (JWG), Jakin Samaritan platform support group (SPSG) and less privileged caregivers from Jakin Samaritan Platform Project (SPP). The members of these groups are part of our success story in 2014.
The 2010 inaugural edition of this event, hosted 165 vulnerable children (VC) and 28 caregivers, 2011 edition hosted 222 VC and 68 caregivers, 2012 hosted 250 VC and 67 caregivers while 359 children (169 males and 190 females) and 70 caregivers benefitted from the 2013 edition.
This 2014 edition is targeted at putting smiles on the faces of 500 orphans and vulnerable children, and 200 widows/people living with HIV along with other less privileged women.
We therefore humbly appeal to your philanthropic heart to support us in making these dream a reality. The budget is two million naira (N2, 000,000).
