Jakin N.G.O as one of the collaborating CSO’s working in Lagos state on GFATM TB Active Case Finding project in selected slums in Lagos State commenced implementation of the project at Aderupoko Slum in Mainland lga in March 2016. 10 community volunteers were selected and trained to conducted several activities on the project.

As at December 2016, , 8,638 households have been reached reached with information on tb prevention, treatment and the relationship between hiv and tuberculosis using i.e.c materials along with Public address systems were also used to sensitize the community members.

972 TB Suspect sputum samples have collected with 56 (37M 19F) confirmed TB positive from Laboratory result. They have been placed on treatment.
