In 2011, as the lead CBO for Mainland and Lagos Island LG for the OVC Cluster project funded by Global Fund through the Association for Reproductive Family Health (ARFH) in collaboration with the Association for orphans and vulnerable children in Nigeria (AONN), 31 Orphans and Vulnerable Children were selected and have been served with educational, health and nutritional support packages. Jakin also set up a Child Protection Committee in the Cluster site.
