On Community Tuberculosis Control (CTBC) project, which is funded by Global Fund through Health Alive Foundation (HAF) in 2011, Jakin was selected as the Mainland LG lead CBO. 10 Community volunteers were trained for the project, as at June 2013 , 246 TB suspects were referred for DOTS and 21 are receiving treatment.
