On Community Tuberculosis care (CTBC) project, which is funded by USAID through Family Health International (FHi-360) in 2012, Jakin was selected as the CBO to work in Lagos Mainland LG as a collaborating CBO. From 2012- 2013, 25 Community Volunteers have being trained on causes and cure of Tuberculosis and methodology for community entry for TB program. 831 TB suspects have been referred so far for TB diagnosis at DOTs Center, 124 TB patients are receiving treatment and 131 Patients are on receiving treatment support by 25 CVs working as a treatment supporters.
