WHEELERS MOTORCYCLE CLUB (WHEELERS M C) SPONSORS HERNIA SURGERY FOR AYOMIDE – A 6 YEAR OLD ORPHAN
On Saturday 26th of April 2014, Wheelers Motorcycle club Lagos donated ₦50.000 to JAKIN N.G.O. for the hernia surgery of 6 years old – Master Ayomide a Jakin Children’s Club member and the son of Mrs. Kemi .A. a The cash presentation took place at the hospital premises of Our Lady’s Maternity Home, Ketu – Alapere were the surgery is scheduled to take place within the next 7days. Master Ayomide has been battling with this ailment for over one year because his mother – a widow with 4 children could not afford the medical bill. He experiences recurrent pain while urinating and his scrotum was swollen.
Jakin N.G.O project staffs – Mrs. Ozobialu Tessy and Miss Adedoyin Soyingbe received the donation presented on behalf of the club by Mr. Roy – the President of Wheelers Motorcycle club who came in company of Mr. Segun – the Vice President and another member. The team arrived in a grand style on their motor bikes which they rode from Victoria Island to the hospital in Ketu Alapere despite the changing weather condition.
Master Ayomide was obviously excited when he saw them arrive while his mother was overwhelmed by their kind gesture. Mrs Tessy received the donation on behalf of Jakin N.G.O and the beneficiaries; she further appreciated their generous support and philanthropic spirit. She immediately paid the medical bill of N44,000 which covered the surgery, hospital admission, tests and drugs required while the remaining N6,000 is made available to cover his mothers logistics needs during his admission and his other needs especially nutrition after discharge. The team also prayed for the success of the surgery before departing.
